Northern Football Alliance League

The Northern Football Alliance League covers clubs from the North-East and Cumbria and was formed in 1890, it sits at level 7 within the non-league football pyramid and is one of the feeder leagues to the Northern League.As well as the Premier Division, there is also First and Second Divisions, which began in 1988 when the league combined with the Northern Amateur League and the Northern Combination League to make three divisions, so the league now feeds all the way down to grassroots level.
